India’s unique opportunity to reduce harms from Tobacco and ensure food security

India’s unique opportunity to reduce harms from Tobacco and ensure food security Every year, the World Health Organization (WHO) comes up with a theme for May 31st, the World No Tobacco Day, to rally public health troops in the fight against the use of risky forms of tobacco products. This year’s theme is “We need food, not tobacco”. If India can invest in nicotine literacy, cessation services with trained healthcare professionals, and widely accessible and affordable nicotine replacement products using a fraction of the homegrown tobacco for nicotine extraction, 300 million Indian tobacco users may well find a sustainable way to quit their risky habit for good. https://ift.tt/S4lTP2h

am i dying

am i dying

hi guys, so the title is obvious a drastic, but anyway i’ve been experiencing some chest pains. it started very mild, and it was only slightly noticeable when i stretched, other than that it was nothing. i smoke weed fairly regularly, so i stopped just in case that had something to do with it. it stayed mild over the course of close to a week, but all of a sudden today it’s gotten worse. it’s not very painful, but it’s definitely noticeable. it can be sharp but it can also just be a bit of an ache sometimes. i feel it mostly on my chest bone but it’s on both sides of my chest as well, but i think it might be a bit more on the left side. does anyone know what it could be or what i should do? i’d like to wait a bit longer before going to the doctor, in case it clears up on its own. what do you guys think? thanks
