With eight deaths in the last 24 hours, the death toll increased to 5,31,778. The mortalities observed were: one death each in Mizoram, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. In addition to this, a total of four reconciled deaths were reported as per the Ministry of Health portal.
