Pvt hosps plan to shut down COVID units, keep only a few beds reserved Even though the number of COVID admissions has come down to a trickle, some elderly patients are still admitted for non-COVID ailments who also happen to be 'incidental COVIDs', preventing the latter from shutting down isolation units.
