A BMJ Global Health study finds that providing food baskets to 2.8 million TB patients in India could prevent over 120,000 deaths annually. Conducted with the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme, the study highlights undernutrition as a key risk factor and says nutritional support is a cost-effective way to improve TB outcomes.
