Health and Life insurance to exit GST net

At its 56th meeting, the GST council led by the Union Finance Minister recommended that all individual health and life insurance policies will be exempted in the new two-tier structure of 5 per cent and 18 per cent slab, effective from September 22, 2025.

Over 9.19 crore hospital admissions facilitated under Ayushman Bharat since 2018
