Speaking at the fourth edition of the ETHealthworld Healthcare Leaders Summit, Dr. Manashvi Kumar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), stressed, "When we talk about technology, we have to be cognizant of the fact that it does have a social cost, so it is very important that we conduct a social appraisal of technology before putting it into action." He also emphasised, "While trying to bring down the cost of technology used in healthcare, it is extremely important to ensure that we don't venture into the realm of technological imperialism, digital stress, or mental health concerns."
