Centre directs States to strengthen doctor safety measures ahead of NTF Report

In a letter to the Chief Secretaries and DGPs of all states and Union Territories, Health Secretary Apurva Chandra recommended forming a "Security Committee" with senior doctors and administrative officers to strategise and implement security measures, conduct routine night-time security patrolling, and establish 24/7 manned security control rooms in hospitals.
