The sub will participate in the Reddit blackout in support of 3rd party app developers.
Reddit is changing their API policy and this will affect many third-party mobile apps.
These changes could drastically impact the way that different communities of people use and access reddit. For example, the blind community at large use API for their screen readers to make reddit accessible to the visually impared. You can read an open letter from r/blind here.
The sub will be going private on June 12th for at least 2 days.
