Quality Care India Limited (QCIL), a hospital platform owned by Blackstone, has agreed to acquire KIMS Health Management (KHML), Kerala's leading hospital chain, for ₹3,500 crore ($400 million). With this acquisition, QCIL will become the fourth largest hospital group in India, owning close to 3,800 beds.

Kerala Health Minister denies allegations of corruption in drug procurement

Italy to charge foreigners 2,000 euros a year for health service
The charge, part of the 2024 budget adopted by the cabinet, will apply only to citizens from outside the European Union, the economy ministry said in a statement. India can address neonatal mortality burden via technology and infrastructure
India bears a substantial burden of preterm births, accounting for approximately one-third of all neonatal deaths in the country.
