Italy to charge foreigners 2,000 euros a year for health service
The charge, part of the 2024 budget adopted by the cabinet, will apply only to citizens from outside the European Union, the economy ministry said in a statement. India can address neonatal mortality burden via technology and infrastructure
India bears a substantial burden of preterm births, accounting for approximately one-third of all neonatal deaths in the country. EThealthworld engaged with some health experts on how the disparity in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) availability in tier II-III cities and remote areas can be addressed and some of the challenges that must be overcome to realise India's Child Health Mission goal of reducing neonatal deaths to less than 10 per 1000 live babies by 2030.
